FIELD: purification of water by using of physical and chemical methods. SUBSTANCE: method involves mixing of chemical reagents which takes place before and after treatment, registration of interaction between these components and determination of reaction characteristics. Quinone-hydroquinone system is used as chemical reagent. Reversible reaction of migration of hydrogen atom in quinone-hydroquinone system being dissolved in tested water sample is registered. Kinetic curve of the reaction is identified. Then with the help of said kinetic curve constant of reaction rate and equilibrium constant are analytically determined. Efficiency of purification of water is controlled according to these parameters. EFFECT: improved efficiency of the method.
