FIELD: metal working by cutting. SUBSTANCE: cutter head has body, cutter holder, flexible and connecting members. Connecting members are made as spider and two pairs of links positioned diametrically. Spider is placed between body and cutter holder. One pair of links couples spider to body and the other to cutter holder. These pairs are positioned on spider in two mutually perpendicular planes. Thrust bearing is arranged between body and cutter holder, separately from spider. Links may be made either as connecting rods or sliders and rollers positioned in radial recesses of spider and fixed by respective axles in body and in cutter holder. Planes of arrangement of pairs are shifted relative to planes of location of cutters. EFFECT: enhanced working of metals. 5 cl, 3 dwg
