FIELD: multilayer heat barrier coatings applied to bases from superstrength alloys. SUBSTANCE: multilayer heat barrier coating 42 of article 40 made from superstrength alloy has layer 44 of superstrength alloy enriched with platinum, binding coating 46 from MCrA1Y on layer 44, layer MCrA1Y 48 enriched with platinum on binding coating 46 from MCrA1Y, coating 50 from platinum aluminide on layer MCrA1Y 48 enriched with platinum, oxide layer 54 on coating 50 from platinum aluminide and ceramic heat barrier coating 56 on oxide layer 54. Coating 50 from platinum aluminide and layer 48 from layer MCrA1Y enriched with platinum reduce migration of transition metals from base 40 of superstrength alloy and binding coating 48 to oxide layer 54 so that oxide layer presents very aluminum oxide. Layer 44 reduced migration of aluminum from binding coating 46 to the base so that oxide layer 54 preserves pure aluminum oxide that ensures prolonged adhesion of heat barrier coating.
