FIELD: lighting engineering; illumination of fountains. SUBSTANCE: fountain includes device for upward vertical supply of water through outlet branch pipes and illuminator located in central zone of fountain. Illuminator includes light source, light flux focusing optical system, disk with light color filters and drive for its rotation and fibre-optic light conduit bundle regularly laid in concentric groups. Inlet ends of light conduits are combined in common end and are placed in successive section by groups. Outlet ends of each group of light conduits have their own direction in vertical planes deflecting to a greater degree from center group to peripheral group and have form of circular fan in horizontal plane (but for central group).
