FIELD: hair curling method and devices. SUBSTANCE: method involves inserting hair lock into resilient pipe; fastening one end of pipe on hair lock; stretching pipe lengthwise and fastening other end of pipe on hair lock; releasing resilient pipe from action of stretching force, with hair lock within pipe having received sinusoidal wavy shape; treating hair lock with chemical substance prior to inserting hair lock into resilient pipe or while it is within resilient pipe. Chemical substance facilitates hair lock to keep wavy shape. Hair lock curling apparatus has pipe with at least one open end for receiving hair lock so that it extends along pipe. Pipe is made from resilient material allowing it to be stretched lengthwise by manual force and resume its initial state upon releasing manual force applied to it. Apparatus is further provided with first and second clamps fastened along pipe at two spaced points and adapted for fastening pipe at mentioned spaced points to hair lock. EFFECT: wider range of hair curling devices, simplified construction and improved curling quality. 9 cl, 7 dwg
