FIELD: devices for chipping ice off pavements. SUBSTANCE: device includes horizontal drive shaft on which rods are mounted. These rods hold strikers with cutting edges. Protective rings are mounted on shaft along its longitudinal axis at some distance relative to one another perpendicularly to its surface. rods are located between these protective rings. Each rod is connected with axle of U-shaped uprights whose base is rigidly connected to shaft. Each protective ring consists of two half-rings. Rods are shifted along helical line relative to each other. Each rod consists of two parts: one part is connected with shaft and other part carries striker. EFFECT: extended range of impact force and angles of impact. 6 cl, 8 dwg
