ENLARGING STEREOSCOPIC DEVICE Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: medical equipment. SUBSTANCE: enlarging stereoscopic device is related to optical instruments, specifically to devices of 3D (stereoscopic) image of small-structured elements on enlarged scale arranged at individually selected working distances from eyes of observer depending on conditions and character of work to be executed. Guide of mechanism controlling movement of monoculars in enlarging stereoscopic device is fabricated in the form of flat spring. Distal sections of guide are manufactured in the form of racks, each one kinematically conjugate to proper monocular with the help of tube rotating on axle installed in middle of guiding groove made in bracket of each monocular to accommodate flat spring. Proposed enlarging stereoscopic device makes it feasible to ensure registration of intersection point of optical axes of monoculars with observed item of work and to eliminate diplopia (ghosting) independent of selection of working distance and degree of ametropy with simplification of design.
