FIELD: nuclear power engineering. SUBSTANCE: in order to reduce probability of fuel assembly wedging in process channel during refueling and to prevent damage to spacer grids in the course of operation and refueling, as well as to reduce vibration thrusts on fuel assemblies and process channel, improve heat transfer and nuclear fuel burn-out, diameter of outer cylindrical surfaces of end parts is chosen to be equal to maximum 0.95 of that of reactor channel and annular slot with collars is provided over periphery of cylindrical surfaces of both end parts to receive flexible snap ring. Diameter of rind in released state and length of split arc are to be found from relevant equations. EFFECT: improved reliability and economic efficiency of reactor. 2 cl, 3 dwg
