FIELD: nuclear power engineering. SUBSTANCE: holes receiving tips of fuel elements in end lattices of fuel assembly are of oval shape with large axis directed towards center and fastenings are made in the form of dampers one of whose ends is attached to side surface of lattice and other end is provided with U-shaped slot receiving neck of fuel element tip. Damper is made for displacement under effect of pressure tube along hole of end lattice together with fuel element thereby affording desired gap between peripheral fuel elements and pressure tube. According to design option, fuel element dampers of external row are attached on one end to locking ring mounted for turning about lattice and not to lattice proper. U-shaped slots of those dampers are oriented unidirectionally over circumference. EFFECT: improved reliability and repairability of fuel assembly. 2 cl, 4 dwg
