FIELD: agitating and thinning apparatus. SUBSTANCE: agitator and thinner unit relates to devices used in technological processes of mixing and thinning of liquids and suspensions. Working member of apparatus is made in the form of several symmetrically located spring-biased strips having horseshoe-like trapezoidal openings. Strips actually function as armatures of electromagnetic vibration actuator. Each of them is located against its own magnetic core through partition which divide magnetic cores and armatures. Distance from partition is not less than amplitude of armature oscillations. Natural frequency of armature oscillations in liquid medium is equal to frequency of supply voltage of electromagnetic actuator. Coils of electromagnets are supplied with current so that only one half of armatures is operating simultaneously. Application of aforesaid embodiment of device allows for higher productive capacity and reduction of its overall dimensions. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 dwg
