Graphite rod is located inside body along its axis. Applied to graphite ring and rod is positive potential from a DC source, and negative potential is applied to refractory ring. Starting current is 90 A and working current is 25-35 A. Expansion ratio of finished product is in excess of 1000. Mixture possesses multipurpose effect, instantaneously adds any molecules containing carbon. The device is compact, simple in handling and may be installed directly in place of use of mixture.
