FIELD: medicine, immunology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drugs showing immunomodulating effect. Preparation consists of a mixture of human serum albumin and interleukin-1-beta taken at mass ratio (20-60):1. Preparation can contain additionally lactose at the dose 1-3 mg/1 mcg. Preparation "Betaleukin" shows capability to stimulate leukopoiesis under conditions of its profound depression at toxic leukopenia among them at "febrile neutropenia" caused by using some cytostatics or their combinations in therapy of malignant tumors. Preparation shows an effective curative effect at leukopenia caused by effect of ionizing radiation and radioprotective properties also. Preparation shows the pronounced immunostimulating effect and can be used for treatment of patients with secondary immunodeficient states caused by surgery operations and traumas. Highly active immunomodulating preparation "Betaleukin" does not contain allergic impurities and inert proteins, arectogenic and shows good tolerance in its final form.
