HYDRAULIC DRIVE FOR INTERMITTENT FEED Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: drilling holes of small diameters at intermittent feed for crushing chips; counter-sinking and boring operations at continuous feed of tool in building-block machines and automatic lines. SUBSTANCE: hydraulic drive includes actuating cylinder connected with supply source and with return line through three-position reversible distributor, flow regulator, feed interruption mechanism with controllable check valve fitted in line connecting the rod chamber of hydraulic cylinder with return line and two-position distributor. Line connecting the two-position distributor with rod chamber of hydraulic cylinder is fitted with safety valve whose inlet is connected with inlet of controllable check valve and with outlet of three-position distributor and outlet is connected with two-position distributor. Control line of controllable check valve and outlet of safety valve are designed for alternate connection with pump through two-position distributor; inlet of flow regulator is connected to one outlet of two-position distributor and outlet is connected to piston chamber of hydraulic cylinder and to control branch of check valve.
