FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves mobilizing abdominal and intrahiatous portions of the esophagus, cardia, lesser curvature and fundus of the stomach retained with stems and main branches of pneumogastric nerves. Anatomically integral cardia is formed. Defect is substituted in muscular layer of the esophagus with the anterior wall of the stomach fundus. The anterior and posterior stomach fundus walls are sutured to the edges of the myotomy cut. EFFECT: retained functions of esophagus and cardia. 11 dwg
