FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: thread feeder has housing, housing extension and holder installed in housing extension and belonging to ring braking part containing at least one thread braking member. This member is made for axial pressing to accumulating body and is installed in extension for directional sliding displacement between braking position and position with clearance relative to accumulating body. Holder quick adjustment mechanism is installed on or in extensions. This mechanism can be set in operation manually by handle to provided displacement of holder from braking position into position with clearance relative to accumulating body by one step without changing preset pressure.
