THREAD BRAKING DEVICE Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

Abstract RU 2041853 C1

FIELD: light industry. SUBSTANCE: loom thread accumulator has thread brake with fixed passage axis and fitted on protective shield with hole for thread. Shield is arranged across direction of thread motion. Provision is made for adjusting position of shield protective surface by means of which transverse position of protective surface can be adjusted according to direction of thread motion if thread deflects from passages axis. Use of protective shield in combination with standard thread guides is expedient to prevent thread lashing. If several threads are laid in loom, protective shields can be adjusted individually to suit direction of movement of each thread. EFFECT: enhanced operation reliability. 10 cl, 6 dwg
