FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has thread accumulating housing, outlet member for directing thread from thread guiding surface of housing into outlet channel coaxial relative to housing, and thread brake arranged between housing and outlet channel and provided with annular clamping members axially aligned with housing and outlet channel. First clamping member is connected with thread accumulating housing, second clamping member is axially aligned with first member and spaced from housing by greater distance than first clamping member downstream of thread. Clamping members are movable along housing axis. At least one clamping member is provided with device for axial displacement of this clamping member and device for instant changing of thread clamping force.
