THREAD MOVEMENT CONTROL PICKUP FOR SPINNING AND WEAVING LOOMS Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

Abstract RU 2129090 C1

FIELD: textile industry; weaving and spinning looms; checking yarn, roving and thread for breakage. SUBSTANCE: thread movement control pickup has housing with fitted in damping member accommodating thread guide and piezoelectric transducer rigidly coupled with thread guide. To increase reliability of thread checking in operation with thin threads (at low valid signal levels) and at exposure of transducer to vibration and shocks, flange is made on outer surface of damping member through which damping is secured in housing. Damping member is installed with clearance between housing and its side surface. EFFECT: reduced false operations at weaving and spinning of thin threads. 2 dwg
