SUBSTANCE: method involves exposure of transducer to cyclic temperatures, to high temperature of 50 C, and to elevated humidity of 98% at 40 C for two days; number of scintillations is used as parameter under measurement; number of temperature cycles and time of exposure to elevated temperature are determined from relevant equations; transducer is held at elevated humidity in factory packing.
