METHOD FOR OPERATION OF GUSHER WELLS WITH USE OF GAS-LIFT PHENOMENON OF ASSOCIATED OIL GAS Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: oil and gas production industry. SUBSTANCE: method is used in recovery of liquid hydrocarbons especially from low-output wells with large gas factor and high saturation pressures. In compliance with method, setup of pump-compressor pipes in its lower part is provided with non-return valve or regulator of bottom-hole pressure. Packer is installed higher in bore-hole. Located under packer and above packer are well chambers. Installed in upper chamber is circulation valve, and installed in lower chamber is gas-lift valve. Gas-lift valve is preset so that it opens and bypasses gas into string of pump-compressor pipes at maximal values of gas pressure in annular space and of liquid pressure in string of pump-compressor pipes at valve location place. Gas pressure in annular space of well must be higher than liquid pressure in string of pump-compressor pipes at given place. Application of aforesaid valve ensures efficient utilization of well recovering capacity with prolongation of natural period of its gushing. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 cl, 2 dwg
