DIESEL ENGINE FUEL FEED CONTROL DEVICE Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: mechanical engineering; fuel system devices of diesel engines. SUBSTANCE: fuel feed control device has pumping unit with barrel and plunger spring-loaded relative to fuel pump camshaft, fuel feed amount control mechanism with metering bushing installed on plunger and control rack. Injection advance angle control mechanism is mechanically coupled with plunger by of phase bushing and phase rack. Rotational speed control device has centrifugal sensing with flyweights and sleeve connected through lever with control rack, and injection advance angle control device with sleeve connected through lever with phase rack. Lever is made with variable gear ratio which depends on position of control rack. Bevel edges with same angle of tilting are made on cylindrical surfaces of plunger and metering bushing to provide independent control of fuel cyclic delivery and injection advance angle. EFFECT: increased accuracy of fuel feed control by forming negative correction section on external speed curve and increased accuracy of control of fuel injection advance angle. 2 cl, 4 dwg
