FIELD: mechanical engineering; diesel engines. SUBSTANCE: proposed diesel engine fuel supply system contains nozzles, high-pressure fuel injection pump with camshaft, control rack, pumping elements consisting of metering and phasing plunger pairs whose working spaces communicate through delivery valves with high-pressure line and plunger barrels are provided with intake holes communicating with low-pressure line. Plunger-type high-pressure fuel injection pump is furnished additionally with phasing rack coupled with phasing plungers whose upper edges are made in form or helical line. Ring grooves milled in phasing barrels are connected through intermediate channels with working spaces of metering plunger pairs. Intake holes of both barrels and ring grooves of phasing barrels are made to provide control of moment of beginning of fuel delivery commencement only by means of phasing rack and end of delivery, only by means of metering control rack. Proposed system is furnished additionally with electronic control unit electrically coupled with electromagnets of drive of both racks, electronic control pedal, crankshaft speed relative to angular position of camshaft, position of metering control rack and position of phasing rack pickups.
