METHOD FOR PRINTING FLAGS, PENNONS, STANDARDS Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: printing equipment. SUBSTANCE: method involves application of image onto flag, pennon or standard using transfer thermal printing by means of arranging blanket onto soft substrate of heat-transferring machine, and transferring image under high temperature and pressure simultaneously on both sides of blanket which is made from synthetic fiber. This is achieved by application of two images which are made by sublimation paint, follow mirrored patterns of images for flag, pennon, standard. Firstly substrate of heat-transfer printing machine is covered with first paper sheet, which image is directed upwards, then with blanket and then they are covered with second paper sheet with mirrored image directed downwards. Upper and lower paper sheets with images are aligned either separately by illumination to transparent light or on editing device with illumination. Alignment is tested using at least one paper edge by means of glue, pins or another tool. EFFECT: increased image quality. 2 dwg
