FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: straw is delivered from straw shaker and gathered by movable knives mounted between rotating sleeves fixed on longitudinal tie-rods. Straw is caught by grinding knife and shear knife which cooperate to grind and disintegrate straw. Straw grinder has thrower and guiding blades arranged in symmetry on thrower and adapted for uniform distribution of ground straw mass over field. Position of guiding blades may be adjusted to regulate width of field strip over which ground straw is spread. EFFECT: increased efficiency by uniform distribution of ground straw over field and enhanced reliability in operation. 1 dwg
