FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: shredder-scatterer consists of a housing with a rotating rotor enclosed therein and a scatterer adjacent to the housing, equipped with guide sheets. The rotating rotor has grinding knives with a mounting opening and a cutting edge, interacting with fixed counter knives. The grinding knives are made with blades located between the mounting opening and the cutting edge, and are installed at an angle to the plane of the grinding knife. The knife blades are oriented aside from the rotor center. The cutting edges of the counter knives are made concave in the form of a logarithmic spiral, with a pole on the rotor rotation axis.
EFFECT: increasing the distribution uniformity of ground straw.
