MAGNETOTHERAPEUTIC APPARATUS Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

Abstract RU 2129447 C1

FIELD: medicine; medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: apparatus is intended for acceleration of inflammatory process regression and for treatment of locomotor system and oncologic diseases. Apparatus has magnetic inductor with current-carrying frames which form rotating magnetic field and correct direct-current component of magnetic field. Current converter and current source are combined into one unit. Control device, for example, personal computer is connected to inputs of current converter and current source. Magnetic induction meter with transducer of magnetic field in inductor is connected to input of personal computer. Apparatus also includes patient's bed. Magnetic inductor contains non-current carrying elements made of dielectric and current-carrying elements manufactured from metal of magnetic permeability equal to unit. Current-carrying elements are made as two modules. Each module consists of pair of identical frames positioned equidistantly from module longitudinal axis of symmetry. Frames have at least one break of conductor connected electrically to current converter. Module dimensions relate to dimensions and position of patient's bed according to expressions L/H = 1+21/2A/H and D/A<1,, where L is module length; A is frame width and space between frames; H is patient's bed length; D is patient's bed width. In one of inductor construction variants with m = 2 patient's bed is made movable in direction perpendicular to inductor axis. Other variant of inductor includes auxiliary modules and additional source of direct current. Frames of auxiliary modules are connected to outputs of additional current source featuring independent control of direct-current component. Frames of inductor modules may be of rectangular form. With m = 3, lateral conductors of frames may be made arc-shaped. Inductor frames may be manufactured as single-layer multi-turn windings. EFFECT: improved design. 7 cl, 9 dwg
