INSERTABLE INNER SOLE FOR SHOE Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: shoe industry. SUBSTANCE: inner sole has lower flat layer made from form-retaining material and upper layer conformable to anatomic structure of foot and made from resilient material. Lower layer has loop-shaped channel extending adjacent to transverse foot arcus through heel part of inner sole. Channel has heel portion provided with partitions. Channel inlet openings are arranged along contours of rounded part of sole heel portion. Tip part of lower layer of sole has portion adjoining distal foot portion under toes and formed as cavity connected via channel to cavity disposed in the region adjoining to proximal part under toes. Cavity adjoining proximal portion under toes is provided with outlet holes disposed adjacent to inner and outer foot portions. Upper layer has portions disposed adjacent to toe tips, metatarsal bone heads, transverse arcus and heel part and provided with projections positioned above cavities and channels of lower layer and repeating their shape. Projections are provided with through openings and define cavities on lower side of this layer. Through openings in tip part and under metatarsal bone heads are made along edge extending adjacent to contour of rounded tip portion of sole. Upper layer is reinforced with leather layer having pockets for correcting members. Such construction allows transverse and longitudinal platypodia to be corrected. EFFECT: improved air exchange in tip part of shoe, simplified construction and increased therapeutic effect and comfort. 3 cl, 3 dwg
