FIELD: sanitary and hygienic articles. SUBSTANCE: toothbrush has handle, head with block provided with bristles. Block is mounted within head for reciprocating along toothbrush axis. Head side surface is provided with perforations closed at their outer sides with resilient petal-shaped leaves. Head cavity is communicated with atmosphere via channel made in handle and provided with return valve. During usage of toothbrush, bristle block is reciprocating within head cavity to force air out of head cavity through perforations into cleaning area and foam toothpaste. Air is sucked into head cavity via channel in handle. Return valve in channel and valves positioned in perforations prevent toothpaste solution from getting into head. EFFECT: simplified construction and improved quality of tooth cleaning by providing foaming of toothpaste in tooth cleaning zone. 1 dwg
