FIELD: industrial organic synthesis. SUBSTANCE: invention, in particular, relates to production of vinyl chloride from ethylene employing balanced method. Bottom waste together with hydroxychlorination gas treatment absorbent is used in the stage of desorption of chloroorganic compounds, said absorbent being tar- containing vacuum distillate. Desorption is accomplished by distilling off azeotrope mixture of chloroorganic compounds with water, which, after condensation, is continuously returned in desorber evaporator. Purified waste in the form of solution of tar in vacuum distillate is utilized as additive for fuel burned in pyrolysis furnaces. EFFECT: increased degree of purification. 4 cl, 5 ex
