FIELD: various branches of industry, medicine. SUBSTANCE: process and gear are designed for dispersing of various foulings and for their removal from all parts of surfaces, from cavities or pores of articles of all shapes made from diverse materials. Process of disintegration includes cleaning and subsequent ultrasonic working of article in liquid medium. Deaerated water or solvent is used in the capacity of liquid medium and process is conducted in closed chamber under absolute working pressure corresponding to working temperature at point of equilibrium of liquid and gaseous phases of pressure-temperature diagram of state of liquid medium. Article is worked over by ultrasonic vibrations with longitudinal waves in which maximal pressure is greater than specified mean working pressure and minimal one is less.. Gear for disintegration of foulings has vacuum-cavitation chamber, generator of compression waves. Vacuum-cavitation chamber is fitted with aids for its full filling with liquid medium, for its sealing, disconnection from atmosphere and change of its closed space and has cross-section in the form of ellipse. Generator of compression waves is located in one of focuses of this ellipse. EFFECT: process and gear provide for reduced energy consumption, enhanced efficiency and ecological cleaning of articles. 16 cl, 3 dwg
