SUBSTANCE: hardening medium contains, wt. %: copper vitriol, 0.4-0.3; glacial acid, 1-12; sodium chloride, 2.8-4.5; sodium nitrate, 3.0-3.6; water, the balance. EFFECT: preservation of hardening properties of medium at rising its temperature, reduced tendency for cracks formation in iron tool. 1 tbl
