FIELD: instruments for measurement of space borehole axis orientation. SUBSTANCE: surface instrument is connected by means of logging cable with downhole instrument including magnetospheric free gyroscope. Additionally introduced into downhole instrument are successively connected unit of generation of acceleration components and transmitting device. Inputs of generation unit are connected in parallel to inputs of four-terminal networks of each axis of suspension of free gyroscope rotor. Outputs of generation unit are connected with the first, second and third inputs of transmitting device whose the fourth and fifth inputs are connected in parallel to load resistors of angle-data transmitter - torque generator channel of two measuring axes of gyroscope. Output of transmitting device is connected through logging cable to surface instrument. Transmitting device has successively connected multiplexer, digitizer, register and transmitter of measured values, and also control unit. Surface instrument has controller of measured values reception, calculator and indication unit. the first input of reception controller is connected to logging cable and the second input is connected to depth sensor. Controller output is connected with input of calculator and calculator first output is connected with indication unit and calculator second output is connected with external computer. EFFECT: reduced overall dimensions, and cost price, extended functional potentialities of gyroscopic inclinometer due to minimum quantity of measuring devices. 3 cl, 4 dwg
