FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to precision instruments industry and may be used, for instance, to build well instruments (WI) of continuous small-sized gyroscopic inclinometers (GI) with an autonomous initial setting (AIS) in azimuth for determination of coordinates of the axis of symmetry of wells. A gyroinertial module GI comprises a uniaxial gyrostabiliser (GS), on the platform (9) of which there are two acceleration meters (13, 14) and an attitude gyroscope (12), installed in a rotary frame (RF) (5), the axis of suspension of which is perpendicular to the axis of stabilisation (SA). In the measurement mode the RF (5) is rotated in a position, in which the vector of kinetic moment of the gyroscope (12) is perpendicular to the axis of suspension of the platform (9), and the gyroscope (12) is used as a sensitive element of the GS. In the AIS mode the SA is installed into vertical position by signals of acceleration meters (13, 14), and the RF (5) is rotated by 90°, turning the gyroscope (12) into a bicomponent meter of angular speed. The platform (9) is rotated with permanent speed, its angle of rotation and angular speeds are measured and recorded. Using the received data, the initial azimuth of platform (9) axes is calculated. Using the RF (5) makes it possible to implement measurement logics in one instrument based on using the GS, and AIS logics based on measurement of the horizontal component of the angular speeds of Earth rotation relative to two axes.
EFFECT: invention helps to increase accuracy of determination of initial azimuth, and accordingly accuracy of instrument operation.
