METHOD FOR CORRECTION OF STATIC CHARACTERISTICS OF TRANSDUCERS Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: instruments, in particular, equipment which tests transducers with several measuring channels with non-linear transfer functions. SUBSTANCE: method involves balancing, calibration, zero-drift elimination, and alternation of sensitivity from additional characteristic, measuring values of output parameter for various combinations of input values, one of which is physical value to be measured, another input value is interference with respect to first one. Results of measurements provide mathematical model of transducer which is represented by set of coefficients, each of which represents unique dependence of transfer function of its channel. Then method involves detection of intersection lines of surfaces with respective surfaces of output values of channels and their projections to plane of input values. Output values of each channel are measured by calculation of coordinates of intersection point of projections. EFFECT: increased linearity of channel characteristics of transducer, decreased mutual interference, possibility to measure information about additional parameter. 2 dwg, 2 tbl
