FIELD: cosmetology and dermatology. SUBSTANCE: objective of invention is to develop preparation especially useful in removing defects arising because of either advanced age or too intensive exposure to sunlight. Water-in-oil emulsion contains retinol, fat phase, water phase, and water phase emulsifier, fat phase containing at least one organic solvent for retinol, which is liquid at room temperature, and pH of water phase being alkaline. EFFECT: prolonged stability of preparation to at least several months at room temperature.
