FIELD: plastic metal working, possibly sheet forming at magnetic-pulse treatment of flat parts. SUBSTANCE: inductor includes flat current- conductive helix having gaps between its turns and opening formed by central turn. Turns of central zone have height more than that of remaining turns and they form protruding portion of helix at side of non-working end of inductor. The last has two short-circuited turns of electrically conductive material and one short-circuited turn of high electrically conductive material with axis shifted relative to inductor axis. One of two above mentioned short-circuited turns embraces protruding part of turns of central zone of helix, another of these two turns - embraces peripheral turn of helix. Inductor has cover of non-magnetic material placed on it at side of formed part and provided with openings in zone of short-circuited turn. The last is secured to cover between inductor and part. EFFECT: enlarged functional possibilities of inductor, its enhanced mechanical strength. 2 dwg
