FIELD: computer engineering, in particular, retrieval of information pieces with given distribution function. SUBSTANCE: device has first, second and third gates, series selector, upper boundary register, accumulating counter of lower boundary, window register, address register, accumulating counter, first and second comparators, pulse distributor, first and second delay gates, address subtraction unit, memory unit, oscillator, first, second and third RS flip-flops, AND gates with four inputs and (N-1) inputs, OR gate, group of N counters, group of N-1 halving units, N-1 subtraction units, group of N-1 double-threshold comparators. Device provides analysis of information array in order to find boundaries of its pieces with statistical non-homogeneity using non-parametric procedure of series criterion. This is achieved by analysis with sliding window which size depends on variance of non-homogeneity distribution.
