FIELD: electric communications; secret communications engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves pre-shaping of noise-immune cryptogram blocks, their hashing, comparison with information block of a-th symbols, selection of most close one among them, and transmission of messages of noise-immune cryptogram block corresponding to chosen hashed noise-immune cryptogram block to receiving party, as well as hashing of identified noise-immune cryptogram block received. Device implementing this method has in transmitting center additionally introduced selection unit, storage module for noise-immune cryptogram blocks, and commutator; in receiving center it has identification unit, storage module for noise-immune cryptogram blocks, and switch. Errors are detected during transmission of ciphered messages and provision is made for their retransmission in case errors are detected in them upon reception. EFFECT: improved confidence of ciphered messages over noise-bearing channels. 4 cl, 14 dwg
