FIELD: disposal of domestic and industrial wastes for environment control. SUBSTANCE: pollutants control technique involves arrangement of shielding barrier around pollutants by means of electric field built up due to electrodes placed on periphery and in center of pollutants as well as under and above disposal area. The latter is, essentially, pit with walls and bottom. Installed on its periphery and in center of pit are electrodes connected to DC power supply. Additional electrodes connected to peripheral ones are installed under and above disposal area. Peripheral electrodes are, essentially, bare conductors placed around pollutants.
