FIELD: cellular communication devices. SUBSTANCE: method which is based on soft quality measure involves use of weighted combinations of parameters of previous and current frames, where weight corresponds to probability of error. This results in improved masking of errors in comparison to rigid operations which use binary detection based on repetition of last information frames, in particular, when binary detection is incorrect, or received frame is judged as valid. EFFECT: improved voice quality for low-quality channels, possibility to use parameter-dependent soft information without need to increase bit transmission rate. 20 cl, 5 dwg
