FIELD: mechanical engineering; conveyor transport. SUBSTANCE: traction chain with disk scrapers is installed for movement in hermetically sealed tubular housing of conveyor. Disk scrapers are secured on chain to provide inter-scraper distance equal to 0.70-1.00 of inner diameter to tubular housing. In one of conveyor design versions, at least one of disk scrapers is furnished special members for cleaning inner surface of tubular housing. Cleaning members are made in form of hard alloy cover plates or metal brushes forming side surface of disk scraper and arranged over periphery of disk scraper. Material to be transported is charged through funnel onto carrying run of traction chain and is transported by disk scraper to discharge port. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of conveyor owing to optimization of design and increased strength of driving and tension station sprockets and effective cleaning of housing inner walls. 4 cl, 17 dwg
