PILE AND SHEET PILE SINKING SET Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: civil engineering; building of pile foundations. SUBSTANCE: set has base machine, driving-in mechanism mounted on base machine, boom with guides, weights and outriggers. Set has additionally bearing frame, support plate, gantry with cylinder, sinker and sinker lifting mechanism. Driving-in mechanism is made in form of cable-and-sheave system consisting of sinker with movable and fixed sheaves secured on bearing frame and cable one end of which is secured on winch drum and the other is secured on bearing frame. Sinker has lifting mechanism in form of single-acting hydraulic cylinders with cable pulley block and working liquid discharge system. Support plate is arranged under running gear of base machine and is suspended from running gear through guide rails and rolls for reciprocating along running gear tracks. Front outriggers are furnished with horizontal extension hydraulic cylinders. EFFECT: increased driving-in force, enhanced stability and maneuverability of set. 4 dwg
