APPARATUS FOR PILE OR GROOVED PILE SINKING Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: construction, particularly pile foundation, retaining walls and fence forming. SUBSTANCE: apparatus comprises main device, pressing-in mechanism mounted on main device and formed as cable-block system, sinking means having lifting member for lifting thereof. Cable-block system consists of movable blocks located on sinking means, fixed blocks connected to bearer frame and cable. Cable one end is joined to main winch reel. Apparatus also has pile-driving boom with guiding means, cantledges, outrigger and supporting plate. Sinking means is hollow. Striking unit having toe block and means for striking unit engagement/dropping may be freely moved into sinking means between striking unit and toe block. Cable another end is secured to pile-driving boom by hydrodynamometer. Cable-block system has tensioning part extending over striking unit toe block. Sinking means lifting member is formed as cable-block mechanism having cable. Cable-block mechanism cable one end is connected to boom winch reel, cable another end is joined to sinking means by pile-driving boom angle block, counterweight block, gooseneck block and block of engagement/dropping means.
