FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: proposed fuel processing method comes to processing of fuel by microlepton field. Fuel processing device has housing made of dielectric material accommodating composite filler and also series-connected DC source and voltage converter whose outputs are connected to corresponding metal electrodes arranged in end face walls of housing so that their inner surfaces are in contact composite filler. EFFECT: provision of intensive combustion of fuel, enhanced economy and reduced content of harmful matters in engine exhaust gases. 3 cl, 2 dwg
