FIELD: metering of consumption of gas or water consumed by various facilities in gas and water supply systems and by individual houses. SUBSTANCE: given counter includes information reading unit, unit converting number of revolutions of sensitive element ( impeller ) to amount of substance passed through counter, power supply system, unit optimizing gain factor depending on current flow rate and indicator. Information reading unit is manufactured in the form of two Hall transducers mounted diametrically with respect to rotation axis of magnet of impeller and separated by magnetic partition. Power supply system forms supply pulses in turn for one of Hall transducers by command of previous one. Indicator is supplemented with switch-on circuit employed for fixed time needed to take readings. Counter displays increased sensitivity to low flow rates and low energy consumption. Operational life of counter is not less than 20 years. EFFECT: increased sensitivity of counter. 4 dwg
