SUBSTANCE: invention relates to physics, namely to instruments for measuring and testing, in particular, to devices for measuring volume or mass of liquids, gases or solids by passing them through measuring devices in continuous flow. Autonomous electronic, dual-mode flowmeter includes following elements: rotor consisting of impeller, pinion, annular magnet and restrictive disk, stator consisting of winding and magnetic circuit, lever operating mode switching, consisting of permanent magnet, lever and plate, reduction gear, shutoff element, electronic logic unit consisting of microcontroller, data transmission module, two or more Hall sensors, electromagnet, stator winding control module, display and storage battery.
EFFECT: technical result is provision of possibility of independent from external supply of electrical energy operation of leakage monitoring system, regular transmission of information on volume of water or gas consumed to supplier, as well as overlap or partial restriction of supply of water or gas to consumer in case of non-payment of supplier's services without connection to constant power source due to dual-mode operation of device: in sensor mode (water or gas meter) and in actuator (actuating device) mode.
