FIELD: instrument making.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to instrument making and can be used in water flow meters with independent power supply. Method of fluid flow rate measurement feature is that for its implementation a counter impellers are used with a disc fixed on it and half-coated with metal and an inductive sensor as part of an LC-circuit, a capacitor which is charged through the inductive sensor with output voltage of a D-trigger to the operating threshold of a logical Schmitt trigger forming pulses from damped oscillations on the LC-circuit, which via a feedback capacitor charge the LC-circuit and are used to release the D-trigger and extract turns of the disc.

EFFECT: higher sensitivity and accuracy of measuring water flow rate while reducing power consumption with protection against external magnetic fields.
