FIELD: agriculture, in particular, growing of plants under artificial illumination. SUBSTANCE: method involves growing cucumber seedlings for 18-22 days; exposing to radiation with radiation intensity being equal to 25-30% of maximum intensity; exposing cucumber seedlings to maximum radiation intensity for next 14-16 days; reducing radiation intensity to value equal to 28-30% of maximum value during terminating 28-32 days of growing process. Method allows yield to be increased by 3-4 times. EFFECT: increased yield and reduced consumption of power. 3 cl
