FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method for growing adult strawberry plants with the use of multitier narrow rack hydroponics involves planting in a sprouter of a multitier narrow rack hydroponic installation and cultivation of strawberry plants. The installation has 10-12 trays with covers. The covers have holes for placement of pots with strawberry plants. The trays and/or covers are detachable. Strawberry seedlings are planted in the pots at the age of 52-57 days. The pots with seedlings are placed in covers of the tray closest to the installation top. After a period of 6-8 days, covers of all trays of the trays themselves except for one closest to the installation base are moved to replace those closer to the installation base. Strawberry plants are removed from pots of the tray closest to the installation base, or pots with plants are removed from this tray, or the cover with pots is removed, or the tray itself together with the pots and plants is removed. Favorable temperature conditions are maintained round the clock, and artificial lighting intensity is maintained at the optimum level until noon. The method allows for the yield of strawberries to be boosted more than 20-fold. EFFECT: more favorable growing conditions; higher yield. 3 cl, 1 dwg
