FIELD: cleaning of liquids and suspensions. SUBSTANCE: rotating filter has container for liquid or suspension to be filtered and rotary device with filtering material at its outer periphery in form of one round ring whose center coincides with axis of rotation of rotary device and which passes in radial direction mainly from outer circumferential surface of rotary device. Sediment evacuation and discharge device is located radially outside relative to outer periphery of rotary device and it passes in direction of rotary device mainly along length of filtering material and is adapted for removal of sediment from filtering material and for directing sediment material radially outwards to radially outer border of filtering material. Rotary device has guide device rotating together with rotary device and engaging with sediment removal and discharge device.
